The Laser Doppler Velocity Sensor uses the LDV system of advanced optoelectronics and microprocessor technology, which makes it easier to measure liquid or solid in 2D and 3D. The laser probe's tracer particle uses the Doppler frequency shift of light scattered by moving particles to obtain velocity information. Since this is a laser measurement, Doppler frequency has a linear relationship with speed and has nothing to do with temperature and pressure.
