Permanently buoyant booms

OOO Severnoye More (part of the military-industrial holding company Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant) produces and supplies BPP-500 permanently buoyant booms. The BPP-500 boom is designed to localize emergency spills of oil and oil products in bays, reservoirs, backwaters, rivers, port waters, as well as for the prompt fencing of oil tankers during cargo operations. BPP-500 consists of interchangeable sections that are connected to each other using a lock connection. At the customer's request, the standard overlap bolt fastener can be replaced with a quick-release ASTM international standard "Dovetail". The booms do not absorb water, oil and oil products. They can withstand a wide range of temperatures, have high tensile strength and have optimal resistance to wave and wind loads.
