As of today, the Administration of Local Public Revenues of the Municipality of Budva, in cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Budva, has hired a municipal tourist inspection which will control the collection of sojourn tax at the landlord.

27.77 thousand guests are currently staying in Herceg Novi, which is 86 percent of the realized turnover from 2019, announced the PR of the local Tourist Organization (TO), Natalija Terzić.

According to the latest data from the Tourist Organization (TO) Bar, there are currently about 15,000 tourists in the city, TO Bar director Emil Kukalj told the Mediabiro Agency.

In Montenegro, 69.92 thousand tourist arrivals and 277.47 thousand overnight stays were realized in collective accommodation in June, according to preliminary data from Monstat.

Judging by the numbers from the field, the summer tourist season, which is in full swing, exceeded the expectations of even the biggest pessimists. Montenegrin beaches, where it is difficult to find space for a towel since the morning, are reminiscent of pictures from the record year of 2019

At today's session of the coordination body for monitoring the tourist season, chaired by the Minister of Economic Development Jakov Milatović, it was stated that the results so far in the tourist season have justified and even exceeded the expectations and projections of this Government.

The Prime Minister of Montenegro, prof. Dr. Zdravko Krivokapić said that an anti-tourist campaign is being conducted against Montenegro and that this is being done both inside and out.
